NHL and MTC
"Do you really want me? Do you really want to make me cry?" lines form Molson Canadians GREATEST COMMERCIAL EVER. So the NHPLA gave there proposial to the NHL owerers or whoever and the owers will be responding on tuesday. So from what i heard and think myself is that tuesday will decide weither there will be hockey this year, or if this strike will drag on for another year or so.
Today I also saw my first of Bell's making the Cut (which just happens to coincide with the strike, convienient) But i thought it might be like a hockey camp in which at the end they just cut people and you just watch them play hockey. but its not exactly like that. the game is cut and stuff so it is just the interesting or key parts. the camera angles are sort of a mix between an NHL hockey game and the movie(s) The Mighty Ducks. Only rather than focusing on all the great things of hockey, uh, i guess like watching it. they focus on the interplayer diolog. Now for all of you who have played hockey, or can just read lips, you know this isnt always positive. So basically they are trash talking and swearing at each other for cross checking/high sticking/turtling/ducking a hit/ect/ect. So for being the only hockey ive seen in months, it really wasnt that good. thats about all i have to say now, except that i really hope that the federal thingy decides that marriage is between a man and a woman.

I'm a little new to this and haven't decided whether posting on the blog of someone you don't know is creepy or not...but what the hell.
Just wanted to say you made my night for that Monty Python witch post. I haven't seen that movie in forever, and that was always my favorite part. So....thanks, I guess!
Brett Hull, on SNL last nite, managed to tie in two of the items you discussed. In answer to the question of what he thought abouit gay marrige, he said " well, there's no hockey, so guys in Canada have WAY to much time to communicate and such, and suddenly aware that they have "feelings" are takin it the next step.....
ames, commenting one random peoples blogs is cool. I enjoy seeing that there are people other than the few i know visiting my page. and to you other, i also found that intrequing that SNL tied my post together. tv is so great.
