suck it up

Today my post is about the toughness of people, such as football players, or other professional athletes. On sunday in the Green Bay- Jacksonville game, Donovin Darius closelined Robert Ferguson after RF made a catch. It was a pretty savage hit but after the hit RF rolled over like twice before stopping, his helmot had also been knocked off, but the amazing thing, he held the football. he is lying on the ground with little feeling in his feet and he is still holding the ball, amazing. links 1 2. Another pretty bad hit, Dwyane Wade was going for an open layup and Ricky Davis took him out. It was pretty bad but DW returned to the game. link. Another story from a couple years ago, Brenden Morrow (yes he was at my cousin's wedding) from the Dallas Stars had a broken foot in the playoffs and came back much earlier to play again. athletes do it all the time and here is a shout out to all those play-semi-injured/suck-it-up authletes out there.

Ouuuch, oh geez that looks brutal. Ugh, it's a good thing I don't play something like football. Don't want to imagine how my accident tally would climb through the roof. Haha, yes, I had to throw the comment about roovi in there just for you.
