Shleep

I was trying to think of a cooler title but 'Is sleep overrated' or 'is sleep a delicacy?' really didnt work. and due to lack of sleep that was all i could come up with. then i changed the plain 'sleep' title to 'shleep'. making my 's's 'sh's is something ive started doing. I think it is cuz Sean Connery is so cool. who doeshnt like a voishe like that? I think my dream self from a voice perspective would be the speaking voice of Sean Connery, and the singing voice of Everlast. "I'm broken like a record, im shattered like a dream, . . ." that would be cool. My sister thinks it would be better if i had George Clooney's voice. that wouldnt be too bad.
but back to my topic of sleep. sleep. the one thing we (im generalizing about what i do) avoid at night and crave in the morning and early to late afternoon. So why is it that we dont want to go to bed? The clock is set around the cycle of light and dark we call days, and are bodies also follow the same pattern (who hasnt been tired at night and sometimes cant sleep in past like 9?). So agian, why do we not go to sleep? It is almost like we want to get as little as possible. We will spend hours at night building bridges, washing dishes, playing addicting internet games. So why do we do it? here is one suggestion, lack of sleep is almost like a drug. im sure you are all going, 'whoa, you are way off brother' (or at least pretend) but i think im kind of close. Lack of sleep puts you in a different state of mind. who have scene the movies Kung Pow:Enter the Fist or Mystery Science theater 3000: The Movie or Monty Python and the Holy Grail? now when would these movies be funnier, 8 in the moringin, noon or 1ish, or at like 11 oclock + at night? thats right, they would be funniest late at night/early in the morning(before like 7 and after no sleep). Also picture this, taking photos of people and erasing their facial details (like the mouth closing thing in the matrix) then coloring over their face with yellow and giving them facial expressions in black of the msn messenger emoticons. sound fun? not really. but try it at like 1 or 2 in the morning and it is HIlARIOUS. But like any drug, if you take to much of it, you get really messed up. like stumpling around, falling asleep, or the semi-sleep state in which your brain tries to tie real and unreal (eg. computer games) things together and it seems logical to you until to fully wake up. oh, is that just me? oops. and also like a drug, in the morning (or afternoon or early evening) when you wake up, you dont feel so good. kinda tired and dont want to do anything, like go to work or math class (darn you calc 3 /me shakes fist). so that one explination. im not sure if it is addicting like a drug but it can be, the other day i was going to bed at like 10 pm. im like its only 10, i wanted to stay up later. so there is my theory, take it or leave it. ignor it or comment about it. let it change your life or forget it. and while ive been writing this ive made myself stay up later and i still need to pack some stuff so i can leave tomorrow, if i am (darn you chance of freezing rain /me shakes fist). But i will leave you with a great story of my late night escapades. This is the funniest one that I know for a fact happened and also that i wish to share with anyone who stumbles accross this site. So i wake up early early morning (like 3 or 4 or 5) and im like (in my semi-conscious state, not to be confused with semi-sleep state) Where's my pillow. I search (i just spelt 'search' 'surch', i think its a side effect) high and low (as high and as low as people do when its like 3 or 4 or 5 and the person is semi-conscious) and suprisingly enough i dont find it. So in the morning i think about it and look for the pillow. Im not sure if i found it right away or weither i stumbled accross it later, but i found it, hangin from a hanger on my cloths rack. that is right, i hung up my pillow on a hanger. And once i found it i do kinda remember doing it during the night but only kinda. So funny. That is my favorite sleep walking/talking/yelling story.

lol... that makes me wish I could sleepwalk so I had a funny story to tell. Alas, I do not. Only a whole lot of insane dreams. but I am definitely amused by the hanging up a pillow... my best sleeping story has to do with a dream where everyone was getting mad at me because I kept wearing my pants with the tag to the back, and I was supposed to wear them with the tag to the front. So the next morning, I got up and put my yellow pants on (I was about six, okay?) with the tag to the front and went for breakfast (thinking, I finally got it right! No one can say anything any more!!!), but when I came into the kitchen, my mum and dad told me my pants were on backwards... at which point I scream out"Why can't you all just stop picking on me?!?!!" and storm back to my bedroom. Ya. That's my story. And one other thing, on Sunday night when Nisha and I stayed up until 7am working on a jigsaw puzzle, anyone listening to us would have been shocked to find out we actually weren't taking any sort of illegal substances. That's all. Over and out,
Jeanine
