Two good stories, One brush with death (not literally), and a suprise ending

So this story starts on a cold day east of edmonton. Several U of A students were using an EDM total station (surveying equipment) but their time to use it had run out. whether this had occured to them or not im really not sure. so out walks the professor to get the EDM so others can use it. so he gets there and just loses it. hes yelling and screaming and the guys are trying to appologize but to no avail.
now this story starts on a sunny day east of edmonton. Several U of A students were throwing around the football cuz they had an awesome group that worked quick and got everything done early. So one especially intelligent, good looking, and strong student catches the ball and starts to throw it. The problem is he is just so strong so he overthrows his fellow student. normally this would not be a problem, the student would jsut run or walk back and get it. the problem was that the student was near the parking lot. it shouldnt be a big deal, a football doesnt hurt cars too bad. another problem was that the ball was heading into the parking lot. it shouldnt be a big deal, most of the vehicles belong to students and arnt that special. another problem, the nearest car is an AUDI. so the brilliant, attractive, burly stucent watches as the ball lands not 2 feet from the audi. but no sighs of relief yet, what do balls do? thats right, they bounce. So balls bounce, what does a football do? thats right bounce unpredictably in crazy directions. so what does this football do? well it bounces up at towards the car, is above the hood, and lands on the other side of the car. That is right, bounced directly over the hood and landed on the car WITHOUT hitting it.
So there are the stories, now the brush with death. well it is kind of a combination of the two stories. As im sure you all guessed, i am the appealing, egghead, mighty student. So i did use my inhuman strength to sail the ball over my friends head and bounce it over an audi. but now you are wondering how that is combining the stories for that is just one story. but if you take the instructor who was in the field (note: i wasnt accually there during the screaming but i heard it was funny), give him a set of keys (and a hat) with "audi" on them, and that would pretty much finish the story. I didnt accually remember this until a bit after the event, but the owner of the audi I bounced a football over was the yelling freaking out instructor. luckely for me he wasnt there to see it and i also didnt hit.
now for the suprise ending. i think the story in itself is a great one, the sharp, mighty, bewitching student (myself) getting lucky by not hitting the car and also by not having the instructor seeing it. now for the great ending, the ending does not lie in the story, but in the time. Im sure all you supersticious people out there think the plantes were aligned or i was knocking on wood the whole time or rubbing a rabbits foot or something but no. the day friday. no biggie, but its the date that is important (to supersticious people). thats right, it happened on Friday, May 13th. and also withing the last week i rollerbladed underneath a ladder leaning up against a building. so PTHHHH to all you supersticious people out there.
Moral of the story: Friday the 13th's badness is a hoax

PS my girlfriend was born minutes after a friday the 13th and im lucky to have her

Inanimate Angels

This is an ode to the little things that make life great. This topic branches from a story my roommate has. the other day he was driving down the road and saw a Lamborgini Diablo (yellow) driving down the road near our house. He followed and stared for a bit. then the a day or two ago he saw it again parked not two blocks from our house. having a digital camera, he then took 10 to 15 pictures of the car and man it was sweet. a similar story is the Nissan Z story. every now and then, probably less than once a month this blue nissan z is parked outside my house. It is sooo sweet and i really dont know whose car it is, i just love it. When i see it it makes my day. This things make life great. wether it be a car, rain, an email, a sunset, a nice flower, a bird, whatever, those make life worth living.

STAAAAAR WARS!!!

WOW. I SO WANT TO SEE THAT MOVIE. ive seen previews and it look awesome. the last movie i was so excited about was Sahara. I watched it and really enjoyed it. Im sure it wasnt a great movie but i was so excited about it so ienjoyed watching it very much. the only problem with it is that several of the characters were wrong compared to the book, but still good characters (i loved william h macy's character and steven zahns was also good). so ya may 19th, crazy cool.
well its been a while since ive talked about it, so here is some comments on the hating of certain commercials. during the apprentise and possibly others, not sure, commercials have been starting before the show is over. for like the last five second of the show a car starts driving on the bottom of the screen, then the show ends and the car turns into a commercial. its stupid. STICK TO YOUR COMMERCIAL BREAKS

Sexy face? Can you honestly tell me that boy toy's pose is sexy? "look at me, i can puff my cheeks out" Posted by Hello

It is time

greetings,
i have overcome my lack of motivation and have started (and finished if you are reading this) writing a post. so what has been keeping me off the internet airways? well accually very little. i mostly havnt felt like typing. i have thought of many good things to say, but didnt want to take the time to put them down. so what has finnaly done it for me? well, ill say the "election". the reason for the " " is because as of now, there is no election. granted there will be one in the next year for sure, maybe in the next couple of months. so that isnt big news, and definitly not post worth (well maybe), but what else. may 8th marks the 60th aniversory of V-E day, the day that the allies defited german in the 2nd world war. also not hot posting gold, but what happens when you put them together? Well you get this, canada's politions (including Mr. PM) are not going to attend celebrations here in canada or in holland. WEAK. Why you ask? (shouldnt be too hard to figure out) well they are all "campaining" for the "election". so rather than honouring our war veteran that played a major roll in giving us what we have today, they are going to walk around and talk to people about why they should be running the country, if and when an election is called.

This has been your BOOOOOOOOOO politions moment of the day
